Make-Up Is A Lie was recorded in France and features 11 new songs, all which are certain to become classics in Morrissey’s catalog. A superb cover of Roxy Music’s “Amazona” rounds out the 12-track album.
“Make-Up Is A Lie”, the album’s title track, is the first single and is the perfect introduction to the infectious grooves, melodies and lyrics that are a theme through the entire album. Morrissey’s legions of fans around the world will embrace this album with enthusiasm.
The album will be released on Feb 27 and be available on colored vinyl, CD, digital and a limited edition zoetrope picture disc.
