De Contracor VAC-5 is een elektrisch aangedreven vacuümtoestel dat speciaal is ontworpen voor het terugwinnen en recyclen van gebruikt straalmiddel. Het vacuümtoestel wordt gebruikt om straalmiddel via een straalmiddelopslagsilo aan te zuigen, waarbij eventueel stof wordt afgescheiden om het straalmiddel te reinigen. De straalmiddelopslagsilo wordt direct boven de Contracor Z-200 straalmachine gemonteerd. Het aangezogen straalmiddel valt in de straalmachine en kan onmiddellijk worden hergebruikt. Met dit systeem kan tot 4 ton straalmiddel per uur op een afstand van maximaal 10 meter van de straalmachine worden gewonnen.
