De hartvorm en de bijpassende hartknop geven meteen sfeer op tafel, maar onderschat deze pan niet: het gietijzer houdt warmte fantastisch vast en verdeelt die gelijkmatig. Daardoor garen je gerechten mooi rustig, blijven smaken intenser en blijft het eten langer warm tijdens het tafelen. Ideaal voor comfort food, langzaam gegaarde sauzen, pulled chicken, risotto of een kleine ovenschotel voor twee.

Deze lage braadpan kan moeiteloos van fornuis naar oven en is geschikt voor alle warmtebronnen, inclusief inductie en grill. De hittebestendige knop tot 260°C zorgt voor extra grip, ook met ovenhandschoenen. En na het koken? Dankzij de lichte geëmailleerde binnenkant reinig je ‘m verrassend makkelijk. Ook fijn: hij kan in de vriezer (temperatuurbereik -23°C tot 260°C), handig als je graag vooruit kookt.

Can't comment on the fit because we didn't take it out of the bag. In fairness to the manufacturer, I tried and tried to get a photo with lighting that accurately represents this fun and unusual color to no avail. For a proper review I guess I should have my son put it on and take a picture in daylight. But they do need to change the color name at least to "champagne tweed" or something. No idea whose job it was to call this color "celery". ;p
