Il vino nasce da un vitigno autoctono delle Langhe, il pelaverga piccolo, coltivato da secoli nel comune di Verduno, in particolare nelle zone di Massara e Olmi. La macerazione, in vasche di acciaio, dura circa

La macerazione, in vasche di acciaio, dura circa 10 giorni con periodiche follature manuali. Il vino matura per circa 9 mesi in contenitori dacciaio. Continua laffinamento in bottiglia per 3 mesi prima della commercializzazione.
