Care Plus® Anti-Insect Icaridin is gebaseerd op Icaridin, ook bekend als Saltidin, Picaridin of KBR 3023 en is effectief tegen verschillende soorten muggen die ziektes zoals malaria, zika, gele koorts en dengue kunnen veroorzaken. Daarnaast beveelt de Wereldgezondheidsorganisatie dit actieve ingrediënt aan als insectwerend middel. De werkzame stof is sec-butyl 2-(2-hydroxyethyl) piperidine-1-carboxylate (CAS Nr 119515-38-7).
