Legende: De reus Asurindarahu wilde de Boeddha ontmoeten, maar voelde zich terughoudend om voor hem te buigen. Terwijl de Boeddha lag, liet hij zich groter zien dan de reus. Zo toonde hij het koninkrijk van de hemel, omringd door hemelse figuren die allemaal groter waren dan Asurindarahu.
Na deze ervaring voelde de reus zich nederig en maakte hij een buiging voor de Boeddha voordat hij vertrok.
