Ze kopen percelen in twee wijngaarden (Capelot en Berri) in de meest westelijk gelegen commune van Barolo; La Morra. Deze commune is befaamd om haar elegante en zachtere stijl wijnen, omdat de bodem hier minder complex is dan in Serralunga of Montforte bijvoorbeeld. Hier regeert de 'king of the grapes'

Deze commune is befaamd om haar elegante en zachtere stijl wijnen, omdat de bodem hier minder complex is dan in Serralunga of Montforte bijvoorbeeld. Hier regeert de 'king of the grapes' Nebbiolo, een druif met karakter, lastig en grillig. Maar als je de DNA code kraakt van Nebbiolo maak je een wijn van Champions League niveau.

 

Barbera fruit uit de Langhe afkomstig uit Rocche dell'Annunziata en 10% Roero een mix van klei, zand en mergel terroir. Vergist en gerijpt op betonnen vaten zeer puur en delicaat cassis zwarte peper zachte tannine's crunchy fruit fijne zuren een pure wijn met veel vulling en spanning. Ideale tafelwijn!

My only caution is that there aren't really a lot of words, so if you aren't comfortable ad-libbing or making up stories you may find it a bit boring. But if you make it interactive it's really fun!
