Frey Holland wordt op mysterieuze wijze vervoerd vanuit New York City en komt terecht in het adembenemende land Athia. Een magische armband is op onverklaarbare wijze om haar arm gewikkeld en Frey ontdekt het vermogen om krachtige spreuken uit te spreken en magie te gebruiken om de uitgestrekte landschappen van Athia te doorkruisen. Frey noemt haar nieuwe gouden metgezel "Cuff" en gaat op weg om een ??weg naar huis te vinden.
Frey komt er al snel achter dat dit prachtige land ooit floreerde onder het bewind van welwillende matriarchen, Tantas genaamd, totdat een verwoestende plaag alles wat het aanraakte meedogenloos bederft. The Break transformeerde dieren in beesten, mannen in monsters en rijke landschappen in vier gevaarlijke rijken. In het centrum van hun verbrijzelde domeinen heersen de Tantas nu als waanzinnige en kwaadaardige tovenaars.
Onaangetast door de Break en wanhopig op zoek naar antwoorden, stemt Frey met tegenzin in om de laatst overgebleven inwoners van Athia te helpen, die haar als hun enige hoop zien. Frey's reis door dit vreemde en verraderlijke land zal haar diep in het hart van corruptie brengen, waar ze monsterlijke wezens moet bestrijden, de krachtige Tantas moet confronteren en geheimen moet ontdekken die iets veel meer van binnenuit wakker maken.

Warm and comfy

Super soft, warm and comfy. I bought the adult size. I'm 5'11" and medium build. It's roomy and comes down to the middle of my shin. Typical robe style except that it does not open. It slips on like a shirt. May not be great if you have to go to the bathroom a lot. Otherwise awesome, I bought 2 for my sister's.

Keeps me nice and warm in Alaskan winters!

As you've probably guessed from the title of my review, I live in Alaska. In my part of the state, the temperature gets down to as low as -25°F in the winter, so I decided to get this to help keep myself warm. (Part of it was self preservation; my mom flat-out refuses to turn the heat up past 69° F.) And it doesn't help that I have defective fat either. Apparently my body thinks I live in the Southern Hemisphere or something, because it keeps me warm in what would be winter for them, but is summer for me. The opposite happens in the winter for me. So I decided to bite the bullet and make the purchase...and let me tell you, this blanket/robe works MARVELOUSLY! It's so fluffy and warm, I rarely have to turn on my space heater anymore.
Now I'll admit, I was a little hesitant to bite the bullet because I'm a BBW, and most things labeled 'oversized' really aren't. (All my plus-size peeps out there know the struggle.) However, this blanket/robe is different! Not only does it fit, I have plenty of room to spare. For the record, I'm 5'6 1/2 - the half matters, trust me - and 321 lbs. But it's a little long...which is to be expected, since it's made for somebody up 6'5. So what I did to prevent mine from dragging was tie the belt underneath the pocket every time I need to leave my room, as seen in the picture. (Yes, I can still use the pocket during this time) That way, I don't have to sacrifice the extra room in favor of a shorter length. I also like how the sherpa is inside the hood as well. Between it and the elastic cuffs at the wrist, I could practically live in this blanket/robe!
I also purchased this in the adult size, but in dream blue. Again, I was nervous because I didn't know if it would fit me or not. Kinda felt like I was pushing my luck there. Fortunately, my fears were unfounded. Not only does it fit as well, I have a bit of room to spare. (See the last picture if you wanna compare the two sizes.) It's not as long as the oversized version, though. The adult size stops about halfway down past my knees, whereas the oversized can pool around my feet. It's not quite as roomy on me as the oversized one is either, but I bought it to walk around outside in, so that's a good thing. More room = more air getting inside to make me cold.
As of the date of this review, however, the slit no longer has the ability to snap closed on either of these robes. That was a bit of a bummer. But everything else is perfect, including the purple and blue being true to color. If you're on the fence about this blanket/robe, just do it! You'll be glad you did.

Fire resistant saved my life!

Saved my life!
I love this snuggie. I'm 5'6" and the oversized drags when I walk. Its my outdoor fireplace blanket. Went to a neighbors last night and the fire tipped over towards me. Hot ash landed on my snuggie. After a stop drop and roll, the only thing damaged was my snuggie. Yes, I need to order another, but the material did great with fire.
On a normal night, it's warm and cozy and keeps me warm on chilly outdoor nights.

Great blanket

Luxurious look. It’s a soft faux fur on the top, with a beautiful and subtle variegated pattern that adds to the lifelike appearance. The inside of the blanket has a velvet feel and creates a cozy vibe. The blanket is a great size.
