De Oostenrijkse wijnbouw is al eeuwenoud. Echter door een smetje in de jaren 80 van de vorige eeuw, stortte deze bijna geheel in. Gelukkig zijn er altijd betrouwbare en vooraanstaande wijnhuizen geweest op de Oostenrijkse wijnvelden. Durnberg is hiervan een goed voorbeeld. De Oostenrijkse wijnen kenmerken zich door het veelvoudige gebruik van de Gruner Veltliner druif; de trots van Oostenrijk. Het zuiveren en elegante karakter benadrukt precies datgene waar de Oostenrijkse wijnen zo goed in zijn. Ook Durnberg heeft op haar wijngaarden de Gruner Veltliner volop aangeplant. In het hart van Weinviertel, een wijngebied ten noorden van Wenen, ligt Falkenstein wat de thuisbasis van Durnberg is. Haar wijngaarden liggen rondom het wijnhuis. Door de specifieke ligging kan het hier in de zomer ontzettend warm worden. Door de hoogte koelt het echter in de nachten flink af.De temperatuurschommelingen tussen dag en nacht zijn van groot belang voor de wijnranken van Durnberg. De Gruner Veltliner druiven voor deze witte wijn van Durnberg komen van de Ravenstein wijngaard. Dit is een zuidoostelijke helling nabij het dorpje Falkenstein. Doordat de ranken maar liefst een halve eeuw oud zijn, maken zij niet veel druiven meer aan. Echter is de kwaliteit bizar hoog. De druiven worden pas begin november binnengehaald, wanneer het lekker koel is. De fermentatie geschiedt op grote eikenhouten vaten waarna de wijn soms tot 10 maanden nog op rijpt. Dit zorgt voor een rijkelijk Gruner Veltliner. Geen alledaagse witte wijn. Denk aan geroosterde tonen van amandelen en hout. Je proeft gebakken appel en rijpe peren. Een haast romige smaak speelt met je smaakpapillen. Op het puntje van je tong ontdek je de kruidigheid die deze Durnberg Ravenstein Gruner Veltliner Reserve heeft. Great Upgrade to your Cabin Filter. Fits 2018 Subaru Outback

This is a great filter upgrade to your cabin filter. This is better than the Subi standard part. Fits my Subaru outback. NOTE: Subi marks their filter with an 'up' arrow; however, this filter is marked with a 'airflow' direction. Direction of air flow is toward the blower motor so it will point downward when you install it.
