Giallo paglierino brillante. Il profilo olfattivo è caratterizzato da fiori bianchi, sentori fruttati, tocchi d'agrumi e sfondo minerale; al sorso è fresco, ben bilanciato, con un finale teso e salino.Le uve chenin blanc utilizzate per produrre "Les Argiles" di François Chidaine provengono da un terreno argilloso-calcareo, composto da argille profonde e gessi bianchi, che regalano al vino i raffinati sentori minerali che lo contraddistinguono. Il vigneto viene coltivato secondo le regole della biodinamica, senza l'utilizzo di prodotti fito sanitari. Dopo la fermentazione con lieviti indigeni, affina sulle fecce fini per 11 mesi.
Perfetto anche per accompagnare un aperitivo estivo, si abbina con crudi di mare, crostacei e formaggi a latte caprino.

Attractive, Simple, And Well-Made

I use this as a "catchall". A place to stash things like my wallet and keys when I enter the door, so that I don't use them (I had been prone to that!). It serves it's purpose well. It's both sturdy and attractive, and a good size for a "catchall". Recommended for those like me who need such things.
