De tester meet in het midden de doorbuigingskracht van de riem en geeft via een kleurmarkering aan of de spanning te slap, te strak of binnen de groene grenszone is. Het eenvoudige meetprincipe met een extra gewicht maakt de UT Eco geschikt voor snelle controlewerkzaamheden bij onderhoud en afstelling. Let op: bij bepaalde frames en achterbruggen kan de meter niet direct worden geplaatst; in die gevallen is de Spring Tension Tester (artikelnummer 11141) geschikter.
