Een wol aankleedkussenhoes was je eenvoudig en probleemloos. Je kunt de hoes machinaal wassen op een koude wolwasstand met een mild wolwasmiddel. Vermijd het gebruik van bleekmiddel en wasverzachter om de natuurlijke eigenschappen van de merinowol te behouden. Na het wassen kan de hoes plat worden gedroogd, bij voorkeur uit de directe zon en warmtebronnen, om zijn vorm en zachtheid te behouden.
