In Genotype speel je als zijn assistenten en wedijver je om experimentele gegevens over erwtenplanten te verzamelen door te proberen te bepalen hoe de planten de belangrijkste eigenschappen van hun ouders erven: zaadvorm, bloemkleur, stengelkleur en planthoogte. De waarneembare eigenschappen van een erwtenplant (het fenotype) worden bepaald door de genetische samenstelling (het genotype). De relatie tussen genotype en fenotype en de aard van genetische overerving vormen de kern van Genotype: A Mendelian Genetics Game.

Tijdens het spel krijgen spelers plant-kaarten die een reeks fenotype-eigenschappen tonen die ze hopen te produceren en te verzamelen (zoals roze bloemen en grote hoogte) om punten te scoren. Elke ronde worden dobbelstenen gegooid om plantenveredeling te vertegenwoordigen, wat kan resulteren in de eigenschappen waarnaar spelers op zoek zijn. Na de dobbelsteenworp nemen spelers om de beurt dobbelstenen om hun erwtenplantkaarten te voltooien of hun onderzoek te bevorderen.

I love this watch even though it has some really big flaws.

I love this watch even though there are some major problems. The quality of the crystal is really clear. I love the way the dial looks. It is very easy to read analog hands. It has a lot of lume on the hands so reading the time at night is not a problem even without the illumination. The indices do not glow as bright but can be easily seen when you hit the light button. I like the colors on the dial as well. I do find the digital dispay to be small and obstructed by the light button. The digital display is also unreadable when you look straight on. It just appears black until you look at it at an angle. The worst part is that the light does not even illuminate the digital display. It is not a deal breaker for me as I don't play on using the digital functions when it is dark. Honestly, I probably am not going to be using the other functions other than time. Setting the analog time is annoying as you have to hold the button and wait until you get to the respective time and it only moves forward. Overall nice looking watch that seems well built. If you use the digital functions a lot this is probably not the watch for you.
