Dit racket is weliswaar het kleine broertje van de Technical Viper en Veron, maar heeft wel veel overeenkomsten qua speeleigenschappen. Dit racket heeft een diamantvorm en het zwaartepunt meer richting de top van het racketblad. Dit resulteert in een vrij royale sweetspot met name hoger in het blad. Door het wat hogere balanspunt brengt dit racket van zichzelf al een aardige portie power met zich mee. Met name de aanvallend ingestelde speler zal deze extra 'put-away' power zeker bij smashes merken!

Het blad is vrij duurzaam zonder te hard aan te voelen. Dat maakt dit racket wat vergevingsgezinder dan zijn grote broers, de Viper en Veron. Al met al een uitstekende keus voor de speler die graag de punten wilt dicteren om deze vervolgens met een krachtige smash af te ronden!

Dit racket heeft een carbon frame, fiberglas toplaag op het blad en een Black EVA foam. Op het blad zit een 3D spin textuur voor extra grip op de bal. Door de Smart Buttcap kun je makkelijk de polsband eraf halen om deze te wassen of om er een andere (kleur) band op te zetten.

Hard to Beat for the Price

I purchased these for a business trip to Italy and wore them daily for the two weeks that I was there, during which I walked extensively. For me, there was a break-in period of a few days; before it loosens up, it will bite your heel, so I recommend wearing bandages or heel pads initially. Following the break-in, it's a very comfortable shoe and has served me well. I purchased a wide, and for this shoe, I found the width agreeable; in my experience, Cole Haan wide widths tend to be hit or miss (i.e., a wide is sometimes not all that wide). In terms of durability, I would not expect these to remain in good condition for more than a year if you wear them daily. The leather is not of high quality, but it's acceptable for the price. Expect them to crease very quickly if not using shoe trees. That doesn't bother me, but I know some find it objectionable. All in all, I like them and would buy them again. It's a comfortable alternative to traditional dress shoes for the office and works equally well for casual wear. Most higher quality options cost at least two or three times as much, and many are unavailable in a wide.
