Its construction merges a broadcast control surface with a complete switching engine, allowing operators to manage live productions without needing external racks or separate control hardware. The front panel provides clear tactile controls for selecting sources and triggering transitions, giving operators the immediacy and precision needed during live broadcasts. 

With eight standards converted 3G SDI inputs, the system supports a full range of HD camera sources while automatically adjusting signal formats for seamless mixing. This ensures that differing frame rates or formats do not interrupt the flow of a live production. A built in multiview output allows the operator to monitor all input sources, program, preview, graphics and key layers on a single display, which offers a complete overview of the entire workflow. Integrated streaming enables direct broadcast to online platforms without the need for additional encoders, making the unit suitable for professional streaming environments. 

The device includes advanced image processing tools such as a digital video effects engine capable of picture in picture compositions. It features multiple chroma keyers and downstream keyers for sophisticated graphics layering, allowing titles, logos or virtual backgrounds to be integrated naturally into the live program. Two media players are available for still and animated graphic playback, ensuring flexible visual design during production. The built in audio mixer provides detailed control across embedded SDI audio and external analog sources, supporting clean and balanced mixes suitable for broadcast and streaming.

A USB webcam output allows direct integration with software based platforms, making it useful for hybrid events or remote contribution environments. Talkback communication is included for coordination with camera operators, and optional network shared storage offers enhanced workflow integration for extended productions.
