Deze Dsquared2 ICONique Logo Print T-shirt is gemaakt van 100% katoen in een rechte, regular fit met een geribbelde ronde hals en korte mouwen. Op de voorkant staat het woord ICONique groot gedrukt, waarbij de N van Nique in een afwijkend cursief lettertype breekt met de rest van de blokletters, een typografisch detail dat Dean en Dan Caten gebruiken om een gewoon logo-shirt net even anders te maken. Op de rug is het logo herhaald in een kleiner formaat, zodat het shirt ook van achteraf herkenbaar blijft zonder dat het twee keer even groot oogt. De combinatie van een wit fond met een strak zwarte print houdt het kleurcontrast hoog en de leesbaarheid van de tekst maximaal, zonder ruis van extra kleuren of patronen. Deze Dsquared2 T-shirt onderscheidt zich van een standaard logo-shirt doordat het label hier zijn eigen merknaam als grafisch experiment behandelt in plaats van als vast beeldmerk, iets wat Dsquared2 al twintig jaar in wisselende varianten herhaalt. Het katoen is van een gemiddeld gewicht jersey, stevig genoeg om de print scherp te houden maar licht genoeg voor dagelijks draagcomfort. Het shirt wordt vervaardigd in Italië, waar Dsquared2 zijn basiscollectie laat produceren binnen de eigen kwaliteitsstandaard van het merk. Wie een logo-shirt zoekt dat verder gaat dan een simpel woordbeeld, vindt in deze ICONique T-shirt een merk dat bewust met zijn eigen naam speelt.

Qua maattabel valt deze Dsquared2 T-shirt normaal, in lijn met de regular fit die het merk voor zijn logo-shirts standaard aanhoudt. Over de schouders en de borst valt het shirt recht zonder strak te trekken, en de geribbelde hals houdt zijn vorm ook na meerdere keren dragen. Katoen jersey van dit gewicht heeft beperkte rek, dus het shirt veert niet sterk mee bij beweging, maar de regular fit geeft van zichzelf al voldoende ruimte rond schouders en bovenarmen. Bij twijfel tussen twee maten is de eigen maat de juiste keuze, want een maat groter laat het shirt al snel te ruim over de broeksband vallen waardoor de voorprint minder strak oogt. Was het shirt op een lage temperatuur, want katoen jersey met een grote print kan bij hogere wastemperaturen lichtjes krimpen, vooral rond de halsboord.

Draag deze Dsquared2 ICONique T-shirt onder een zwarte bomberjack met een slim-fit jeans en witte sneakers voor een monochroom geheel waarin de print het enige statement blijft, of combineer met een gekleurde cargobroek als het beeld wat brutaler mag. Het cursieve typografische detail in het logo is precies het soort kleine afwijking waardoor dit shirt verder gaat dan een standaard logo-print. Een basic T-shirt dat toch een verhaal te vertellen heeft, is precies waarom dit exemplaar nu de moeite waard is.

Dsquared2 werd opgericht door de Canadese tweelingbroers Dean en Dan Caten, die in 1991 vanuit Toronto naar Milaan verhuisden en na jaren werken voor Versace en Diesel met steun van Renzo Rosso hun eigen merk neerzetten. Die Canadese nuchterheid gecombineerd met Italiaans vakmanschap is precies de spanning die Dsquared2 sindsdien in vrijwel elk seizoen terug laat komen.

Pretty good blanket. Slightly larger than normal throw.
I purchased this leopard print throw blanket because you can get it in twin size and twin size is a lot more usable in not only a bed but also on a couch. Like if you have two people sitting next to each other, it's a lot easier to use the twin size than a throw size, which I feel is a little bit cramped. In addition to that, I saw in the picture that this looked almost like fur. Now when you look at it in person, you can clearly tell it's not for it's got almost like a a spotted pattern even with the spots. And while I don't know if leopards actually look like that, certainly at a distance, it feels a lot more accurate than things that are only vaguely leopard printed like the the common pink ones, as you can see here in the other variety. But certainly the Brown leopard one looks good. Plus, it is comfortable and pretty soft. It's softer on one side than another side, but only slightly and while it's rolled over and stitched at the edges, it is a single layer throughout. So it's not going to give you a ton of warmth. But I will give you some warmth, you know just enough to be nice and that means you can use it year round. So overall at this price for a twin size leopard print throw. I think this is a good deal. Well I think it could be a better deal. I've certainly seen worse so I think I could recommend this product

This is a fabulous LIGHTWEIGHT blanket exactly as advertised!
This blanket is exactly as described, it is LIGHTWEIGHT meaning it is thinner and cooler than some of the other Berkshire lines of thicker heavier blankets. I have purchased at least 20 Berkshire blankets/throws for myself and for gifts because they are the absolute best quality at a seriously reasonable price. They are so soft and comfy and they will survive years of regular use and washing. This one is a gorgeous deep purple and is the perfect weight for our recent 85+ degree days in March with nights that still need more than a sheet but less than a comforter. It measures true to size after a thorough wash/dry cycle and I have had zero shedding issues so I’m not sure what other buyers are doing but please wash your blankets before using them. The photos show this gorgeous purple in a twin size next to a twin “Ombré Burgundy classic heavyweight” (omg go check that one out) and you can see the purple one is just about half the thickness of the other one which is exactly what I wanted for the hotter summer months coming up. If you want a thicker blanket, Berkshire makes a lot of them, just look for the ones marked “HEAVYWEIGHT” instead of going through the hassle of returning a blanket that is clearly advertised as a “lightweight soft fuzzy plush blanket or throw” and then getting mad because you got a lightweight soft fuzzy plush blanket or throw 🤣
