Gebruik
Was uw handen. Reinig de infusieplaats overeenkomstig de aanwijzingen van uw arts of diabetesverpleegkundige.
- Neem het naaldgedeelte en het slanggedeelte uit de steriele verpakking. Houd de twee helften van de koppeling zodanig dat ze een kruis vormen. Pas de delen in elkaar en draai ze een kwartslag rechtsom tot ze duidelijk waarneembaar en hoorbaar in elkaar klikken.
- Draai de luer aansluiting in de adapter van de pomp. Vul de Rapid-D Link overeenkomstig de handleiding van de pomp totdat er insuline uit de punt van de stalen naald druppelt. Controleer of er zich geen luchtbellen in de patroon of infusieset bevinden.
- Houd de Rapid-D Link met duim en wijsvinger van één hand aan de handgreep vast. Verwijder met de andere hand het afdekfolie van de zelfklevende pleister en draai de beschermhuls van de naald.
- Plooi met uw vrije hand de huid op de gereinigde plaats. Breng de Accu-Chek Rapid-D Link onder een rechte hoek in onder de huid. Druk de zelfklevende pleister stevig op de huid zodat de Accu-Chek Rapid-D Link goed op zijn plaats blijft zitten. Buig de handgreep lichtjes in zijwaartse richting en verwijder deze. Zorg dat de zelfklevende pleister plat op de huid blijft zitten.
- Schakel de pomp in. Als extra veiligheid kunt u een lus maken en deze fixeren met een pleister.
