A man of very considered taste, he always ensured that his work was immaculately framed and green frame really adds to the overall appeal of the work.
This work was originally bought from the Roy Miles gallery in St. James's in Londonin the 1970s. Ker showed his work throughout the world, culminating in his two fantastically-titled final shows in the late 2000s at the Air Gallery on Dover Street, London, 'Grit in your Retina' and 'Laddering Malevich's Tights'.
As a classicist, Dorian's work is always inspired by ancient Italian history, yet always has an eye for contemporary detail that gives them an enduring vibrancy.
