Always accessible and ready for the best tonality possible, the Fender Player II Series Jazz Bass is a key, modern example of exciting Fender innovation and style in action. Capturing so much of what made the Jazz Bass a household name, this entry to the Player II Series has just about everything to take on the instrument in full form.

Starting at its basis with an iconic double-cutaway body made of alder, this J Bass form is quickly recognizable and effortlessly playable. This choice of alder serves many purposes, yet predominantly carries a gentle weight and acts as a great sonic foundation for musical ideas to flourish. A Modern “C”-shaped maple neck joins the equation as a smooth connection to the player’s left hand. Across the palm, this neck wood and profile are effortless and slick for quick trips from higher to lower registers. A maple fingerboard meets up with this neck and measures with a 9.5” radius. Twenty Medium Jumbo frets line the board for easy fretting and accessible movement to get playing fast.

The voice of this J Bass, punchy and articulate, comes from two Player Series Alnico 5 Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups that roll through a spectrum of captivating bass tones perfect for blending into any mix. A 4-Saddle Standard bridge grounds strings to the body while a set of Standard Open-Gear tuning machines and a synthetic bone nut meet at the other end of the guitar to account for solid intonation and quick stringing.

Bringing the best of the Jazz Bass experience to every player, this Player II Series entry has all the exciting elements of a Fender classic with modern playability in mind. It’s a Jazz Bass as it’s always been known.

  • Alder body with gloss polyester finish
  • Modern "C"-shaped maple neck with satin urethane finish
  • Maple fingerboard with twenty Medium Jumbo frets and rolled edges
  • Fender Player Series Alnico Jazz Bass single-coil pickups
  • Fender Vintage-Style tuning machines and synthetic bone nut
  • 4-Saddle Standard bridge

Fascinating journey …
Beautifully written piece about Jenna and Hayley’s finding love and the contentment of home. It’s interesting being a part of two women’s journey to each other. Actually, it’s a gift. The secondary characters were equally as strong and very relatable. I enthusiastically, heartily, and unequivocally recommend this and all of Cheyenne Blue’s works. Her writing style pulls you in and doesn’t release you until the epilogue. Even then, I will sit with this account of a beautiful relationship between two strong warriors and the community in which they live for some time. Thank you. Peace. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💕🐾

Another awesome read from Cheyenne Blue!
I loved this book! I wanted to read it as soon as I heard the premise. The idea of taking the chance to be tossed into who knows what setting, even with money involved, is an adventure I would never have the courage to do - but it makes for a fantastic and entertaining story. After winning a "life swap" competition, Hayley, a NYC short order cook and bar tender has to go to the Australian Outback as a jilleroo; talk about a fish out of water! She is mentored by Jenna, experienced ranch hand. The development of their relationship as well as Hayley's evolution as a jillaroo is so much fun to follow along. Add in a great cast of characters, some glitches in the whole life swap arrangement, the beautifully described setting and a hard earned happy ending, and you end up with another awesome read from Cheyenne!

I laughed, I cried and I swooned! can a story ask for more?
Cheyenne Blue has pulled together a most beautiful background for a delightful love story. The style of writing is skillfully crafted and lovingly brilliant, believable and drags emotions through the gamut of life. My heart is full and I am emotionally drained for the night! These characters are so fully realized and fit the austerity of the Australian Outback, the color and clarity is woven in every sense. Yes, I really loved this story.

Fact: You’ll go crackers for Switcheroo-Word
This story is chockablock full: life swap, fish out of water, Bronx to Queensland outback station life, and never-mind the dust, the heat or the flies. Just put on your Akubra cattleman hat, bring plenty of water with you, no need for all the modern trappings of life, and find your true heart’s desire and chosen family. Thank you Cheyenne Blue for this fantastic tale that focuses on what our heart truly needs to fulfilled.
