Teflon first caught DJ Premier's attention when he performed with Jay-Z on a track from M.O.P.‘s First Family 4 Life, released in 1998, and his popularity exploded in 2000 when he joined Busta Rhymes and Remy Ma on M.O.P.’s Ante Up (Remix). My Will, which was released earlier, included ‘Get Mine’, which sampled Marvin Gaye's ‘In Our Lifetime’, and was fully backed by the M.O.P."
