Campagnolo C-Record shift/brake levers, hailing from Italy and in production during the 1990s. Made from plastic/aluminium and weighing in at 532 grams. A fine choice for keeping your classic bike authentic, but also great for any other compatible bike.

These 8 speed Ergo levers were only the 2nd type produced by Campagnolo. Although listed as Record in the catalogue, they came at the very back end of the C-Record era, around 1993.

The shifters have been checked over by one of our mechanics and graded as good condition, but do take a good look at the detailed photos so you can see the cosmetic condition before you buy.

EU Customers – for orders under €150 (excluding shipping), VAT will be collected at checkout, but from 1st July 2026, due to new EU import regulations, there may also be a customs duty payable to the carrier. For orders over €150, all import fees will be payable to the carrier, with nothing collected at checkout.

USA Customers – import fees are now collected at checkout for all orders to the US, so there won’t be any surprise charges when your order arrives.

Other International Customers – local import fees may still apply, charged by your customs office or courier before delivery. These are not collected by us, so please check your local rates before purchasing.

HELP SECTION

Speed - the number of cogs at the back the right shifter is designed to be used with. This is important with indexed shifting but with friction setups you can in theory run any shifters with any speed setup.

Shift System - friction shifters don't click into gear when you change, when they do click it's referred to as indexed shifting, for this to work correctly you must use the same shift system as your rear derailleur.

Shifter Type - brifters' are designed to be used on road drop type handlebars and 'trigger' shifters are designed to be used on flat bars, usually for mountain bikes.

Chainset Compatibility - the number of rings on the chainset the left shifter is capable of working with (providing the front derailleur is capable of the same).

Brake Type - if you’re running direct pull cantilevers (V-Brakes), you’ll need compatible shift/brake levers. For traditional side pull calipers, cantilevers and mini V-brakes you’ll need shift/brake levers designed to be used with these as the cable pull is different.

Perfect fit, solved steering pump noise
Installed this o-ring kit on a 2009 Honda Odyssey. The steering pump was making noise and you could see bubbles in the fluid revivor when the engine was idling indicating a potential air leak from where the hoses attach to the pump. The most difficult part was finding the right 10mm wrench that would allow me to access the lower hose mounting bolt without removing the belt or pump pulley. I wound up taking an old wrench, heated it with a torch, and bent it in a vice to get the right fit. I did order a ratcheting, flex head wrench but while waiting for it to be delivered I was able to make something work. Overall, the o-ring kit worked great, the o-rings seem high quality and this fixed my issue. If you don't already have some, make sure to order the power steering fluid required for Asian/Honda vehicles when you order these o-rings.

Fixed noisy and leaking power steering pump
My daughters 2008 Honda Accord 2.4L 4 cylinder that had a very noisy power steering pump which was also starting to leak. I was about to buy a new pump when I found out it might just be leaking from the hoses to the pump. I bought these O rings for the hose connections at the power steering pump, and spent 15 minutes replacing them. Pump is quiet again! The suction hose can develop a leak, letting air get into the pump which creates the loud noises. This fix is all I needed, and was much cheaper and faster than replacing the power steering pump.
