Rebecca carefully pulls back the curtain to expose the raw emotions of police officers after having been forced to kill another human being. From the onset of the death notification through the cold reality of an autopsy report, we learn what it's like for survivors who are left with the overwhelming sorrow of realizing how someone they loved purposely chose to die at the hands of another.
As a police officer involved in three critical shooting incidents, I found this book to be of great value. I wish it had been available sooner. Hopefully, Rebecca's work will motivate the leadership within Police Departments to evaluate and develop appropriate protocols to help officers, survivors, and the community learn how to effectively work through such potentially devastating events.

Shining Shimmering Splendid

Alright, first of all I LOVE the packaging and the spray bottle. Absolutely adorable! Aesthetics are off the charts. As for the actual power and look of the glitter, it is pretty good.
I tried to take photos of it on my hands/arms but the camera has a really hard time picking up the small glitter. In person it will give you a shiny or shimmery look rather than coated in gold. Not quite what I was hoping for, but definitely a cool look!
The spray is quite powerful, so be aware of where you are putting it on. It is very easy to apply, just keep in mind that glitter will go EVERYWHERE. It also comes off easily enough either by rubbing a cloth or washing with water.
