Description:
Austerity has been at the center of political controversy following the 2008 financial crisis, invoked by politicians and academics across the political spectrum as the answer to, or cause of, our post-crash economic malaise. However, despite being the cause of debate for more than three centuries, austerity remains a poorly understood concept
In this book, Suzanne J. Konzelmann aims to demystify austerity as an economic policy, a political idea, and a social phenomenon. Beginning with an analysis of political and socioeconomic history from the seventeenth century, she explains the economics of austerity in the context of the overall dynamics of state spending, tax, and debt. Using comparative case studies from around the world, ranging from the 1930s to post-2008, she then evaluates the outcomes of austerity in light of its stated objectives and analyzes the conditions under which it doesn™t “ and occasionally does “ work
This accessible introduction to austerity will be essential reading for students and scholars of political economy, economics, and politics, as well as all readers interested in current affairs.

These wallets are indestructible...well unless my son loses it, which he does quite often. (Teenagers ammi right 🙄) So I've been a repeat customer. He always asks for another carhartt

Good quality, bad packaging
Size: One Size, Color: Black
Really good quality. It last a lot time but it came with the lid off. Like it was loose in the box so the packaging was not great but quality is good!

SIMPLY PERFECT
Size: 30mm, Color: Brown/Silver-Tone/White/30mm
If you can appreciate a watch that simply tells time, buy this beautiful watch. The band is made of quality leather, it’s easy to adjust to fit and stays in place. The watch face is clean, bright and easy to read the accurate time. The functionality to light the face by pressing the wind button in is a thoughtful feature. The watch is water “resistant” (you can wear the watch when washing dishes), but I wouldn’t shower with it on or submerge it in water just in case. This watch accessorizes with anything I’m wearing in an understated way. TIMEX is a time-proven quality watch maker and this particular watch is a great value! I highly recommend this simply perfect and beautiful watch.
