Historical background:

IJN Type 2 Ka-Mi Amphibious Tank was first deployed in actual combat during the Battle of Guadalcanal at the end of 1942. Afterwards, it was used in island battles in places such as Saipan, Iwo Jima, the Philippines, and the Papua Peninsula.
However, due to Japan's limited industrial production capacity and lower output, as well as the disadvantage of the Japanese Navy in the later stages of the war, many of these tanks were used for island defense operations and even as fixed artillery.
By the time of Japan's surrender in 1945, there were very few Type 2 internal fire boats left and a small number were captured by the Allies.
