Kolb, our Onyx journal celebrates the harmony between art and science. The binding was originally designed to contain a Latin oration on the physiology of plants by the renowned Dutch botanist Willem Hendrik de Vriese (1806 1862). De Vriese was a member of the Royal Dutch Institute of Sciences, Literature and Fine Arts and, in his studies, named many species of plants in the Asterales order (Asterids).Science and art have long found a common ground in Dutch history, with artists from the Netherlands pioneering the form of still life, so there is little wonder why this significant binding can be found in the KB, National Library of the Netherlands. Founded in 1798, the library holds the intention to celebrate the written word and share Dutch creativity and innovation with the world. We are honoured to partner with the KB, National Library to bring this beautiful binding to the Paperblanks collection.

Cradle for a PC laptop charging block
Color: Black
Seems to be pretty durable. I haven't had it long. The adhesive is still holding up as I applied it to the wall for a vertical hang to keep the block off the floor in my studio. I don't recommend trying to apply this to a wall that would have some kind of texture as the adhesive probably wouldn't hold very well. It's made for flat surfaces only or a wood surface. Make sure you clean the dust off the area you plan to attach to. As everyone knows charging blocks for PCs are incredibly huge and heavy; so far so good.

Easy to mount, fits large charger great. Low profile appearance keeps it out of sight, functions perfect for my needs. The thick silicone material is nice and stretchy, thick so it should be durable.

Don’t but this…

The holder came quickly and isn’t that bad but mounts with a huge adhesive backing, which again isn’t;t bad, but it was sent in a plastic bad, like a zip lock bag. The adhesive backing has NO protecvtyive strip on it, so it is covered in lint and debris and was sticking to the bag it was sent in.
