MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Great toy but if your dog is an aggressive chewer, please think twice.

I received this on May 23rd and on June 8th, after playing with this thing every day, our recently acquired 36 lb dog finally ripped it open and got out all the plastic and the squeaky part. Lily Belle will miss you, chicken.
Lily loooooved this toy! She'd toss it in the air, chew on it, pull it with her teeth etc. but as much as she loved it, we won't replace it. It's just not durable enough for her.
If your dog is an aggressive chewer, you might want to try a different toy. I hate that this lasted just a smidge over two weeks because Lily seemed to truly enjoy this toy.
RIP, squeaky chicken!

Best Dog Bone
Flavor Name: Beef, Size: Large
This is one of the best bones I've seen and I have always lived with dogs. The shape makes it so ergonomic for the dog, both of mine hold the bone down with both paws then chew the part standing up. One of my dogs was able to enjoy this while wearing a cone after surgery, supporting her natural behavior and keeping her busy. These are great for our 11 month old puppy because he was struggling to figure out how to brace the bone without it rubbing his paws, so was bracing on furniture and getting in trouble. Now he can hold the T part easily and doesn't need to use other objects he shouldn't chew by accident. They are durable, too. I got these about 2 months ago and they are barely worn with a rotty/pit/Shepard mix male puppy. If you know dogs, you know that means this is a solid durable bone! I will for sure keep these on hand for years as they are a preferred chew in my house!
