ドイツ製SEIBOTHのヴィンテージリング。

2000年代のお品で、ヴィンテージの中では比較的新しい年代に属するアイテム。

SEIBOTH社が、STILOMIOというジュエリーブランドのために制作したものです。

「不思議のメダイ」をモチーフとした大ぶりのシルバートーンメタルを、爪留めされたオレンジストーンが一周取り巻く華やかなデザイン。

不思議のメダイとは：1830年にパリの教会で聖母マリアが出現し、修道女カトリーヌ・ラブレに「この通りにメダイを作りなさい」と伝えたことから始まったメダル。このメダイを身に着けた多くの人が特別な恵みや奇跡を経験したことから、「不思議のメダイ」「奇跡のメダイ」と呼ばれるようになりました。

中央には聖母マリアの姿が刻まれ、縁には祈りの言葉("O MARIA SIN N LABE CONCEPTA ORA PRO NOBIS AD TE RECURRENTIBUS ORA"「ああ、原罪なきマリアよ、我ら、あなたのもとに立ち帰る者たちのために祈りたまえ。」)がラテン語で書かれています。

伝統的な守護のモチーフを、SEIBOTHならではの感性でモダンなデザインに仕上げた、アーティスティックな一品。

お守りのように身に着けたくなるリングです。

モチーフ裏側のメタルに小傷、一部若干の色むらが見られますが、その他良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

【SEIBOTH(ザイボーズ)とは】
1952年に、ドイツ・カウフボイレンにて創業されたコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。創業者Erhard Seibothは長年に渡りDior、Chanel、Yves Saint Laurentなどの有名デザイナーと共同制作も行い、ジュエリー専門歴史書にはSeiboth氏についても記載されています。

Seibothのコスチュームジュエリーは大量生産ではなく、卓越した技術を持つ職人により一点一点手作業で作られており、スワロフスキーを主としたハイクオリティな素材を使用。
現在も、高級ブティックやヴィンテージショップなどで愛され続けています。
