This design is a tribute to one of my earliest creative awakenings: the stop-motion “Speed Demon” sequence from Moonwalker. As a kid, I was completely captivated by Spike the Rabbit — the chaotic persona Michael Jackson transforms into to escape the frenzy of fame. Spike is everything mischievous and unfiltered: devious, cunning, scheming, a prankster. He embodies a shadow self — a side that contrasts sharply with the soft, shy, and almost otherworldly sweetness of the King of Pop.

Watching the dance-off between the two characters felt like witnessing a living symbol of duality. It echoed the occult idea of “as above, so below” — two mirrored forces, opposite yet inseparable. One polished and luminous, the other chaotic and rebellious. They aren’t enemies; they are reflections. Each exists because of the other.

This shirt reimagines that moment through a darker, black-metal lens — where childhood wonder collides with later influences in heavy music, underground aesthetics, and alternative culture. It’s for those of us who grew up inspired by Michael Jackson’s imagination and theatricality, then found ourselves drawn into deeper shadows, louder sounds, and more subversive art.
