Fish oil microcapsules – the source of Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)). The EPA plays an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. DHA is an important compound for the development and functioning of the vision and nervous system in mammals. DHA and EPA regulate lipid metabolism (lowers blood triglycerides by 25-35%), regulates thrombus formation and lowers their aggregation, is part of cell membranes, stimulates the production of anti-inflammatory prostaglandins in the body, stimulates the immune system, cardiovascular and nervous system, provides optimal retinal function, helps restore the health and quality of the skin and hair.
PHOSCALIM® – a mineral extract of marine fish (cod, saithe, haddock) – is rich in calcium and phosphorus (2:1). It is obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis of these fish. Contains calcium (21 – 24%) and phosphorus (2:1), vitamin D3, type II collagen, trace elements, hydrolyzed protein (33%), chondroitin and glycosaminoglycans. Calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D3 prevent the development of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. Type II collagen is necessary for cartilage regeneration and functions as an antiangiogenic agent, reduces the need to take analgesics. Chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine are necessary for normal joint functioning and regeneration of connective tissue and cartilage. It contains trace elements (magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, copper, cobalt, iron, zinc, selenium) in optimal proportions.
