[FIREWORKS]. BROCK, Alan St. Hill. Pyrotechnics. The History & Art Of Firework Making. London: Daniel O'Connor. 1922.

Royal 8vo. Original orange cloth, blocked in red to the upper board with a design depicting a number of fireworks, pictorial dust jacket, pictorial endpapers; pp. xv, [i], 197, [1], illustrated with 6 coloured Japanese prints (produced in Japan) and 30 monochrome plates, including frontispiece, reproducing engravings and broadsheets, including 1 folding, errata slip present, tipped-in to p.1; a bright presentation copy, inscribed and flat-signed by the author on title-page.

~b~Very scarce first edition of Brock's first book, particularly difficult to find in the dust jacket and signed.~i~ The author 'apologizes' for this book in the introduction: 'My excuse for adding another volume to the literature of the art is that I am of the eighth generation of a family of pyrotechnists, whose work, I venture to claim, has not been without its effect. If I succeed in interesting, and in some degree enlightening, my readers, I shall feel I have not written in vain; if I fail, I shall know it is not in my choice of subject but in my capacity for dealing with it. Alan St. Hill BROCK. - Sutton, August, 1922'. Brock’s business had been founded in Islington in 1698 by John Brock as the oldest British fireworks manufacturer. They are still trading, but not associated with the Brock family. Apart from the English Royals, among their clients were the Kings of Spain, Portugal, Denmark and Zululand, the Sultans of Morocco, Turkey and Zanzibar, the Shahs of Persia, Czars and Czarinas of Russia, Emperors and Empresses of Germany and Brazil.

This is an awesome product and affordably priced! I'll buy more in the future!
Color: Comet - Small, Size: Small
This is a great ball for my dog Polly! It doesn't stink or have any weird oils on the ball. It is definitely durable. It has a nice chirping sound and it's great exercise for my dog's jaws. It's not too bouncy and it's the perfect weight that she feels satisfied having in her mouth and when she catches it in mid-air. It's not too heavy that I have to worry about it knocking her teeth out. I almost cancelled the order after I found out the size of the ball, I thought it was a larger ball that Bark makes. It turns out it is larger than a tennis ball which is what I wanted. Someone gave us a black, knobby, ball that is 12.5 inches in diameter and she absolutely loves it, it's her favorite ball. It's the perfect size for her American Pit Bull mouth! I cannot find this product anywhere or a comparable alternative that's the same size. If you know where I can purchase another ball that I've described @ 12.5 in. diameter, please let me know! I'll likely buy this ball that was just delivered, today, in the future, if it's not discontinued! It's a great deal for only $14.99!! Thanks from a happy satisfied customer, V.B.

Only ball he has not destroyed in minutes!!! So good that I purchased a second one for travel. It keeps him busy and tires him out because he cannot break it!😆

Sort of good for tough chewers??
Color: Deep Roots Carrot - Small, Size: Small Dog
The actual carrot part (orange part) is tough chewer approved and my dog loves. It’s basically the same shape and size as his kong. However the leaves (green part) is not tough chewer approved. He ripped ALL those leaves off and ate them within 5 minutes of me giving him the toy. However they passed through him fine.
