KS Blade Punch Diamond Pricking Irons are Japanese style diamond stitching punches. The sharp blades of these stunning pricking irons allows the tool to pierce straight through thick leather with little effort, leaving clear holes in the leather for natural looking stitching. This silver colour version of the tool is made of stainless steel to prevent rusting. The tooth spacing is 3.38 mm, with a blade width (stitching hole size) of 2.1 mm. It is available in 2, 5, and 10 tooth sizes.
Pricking irons are essential leatherworking tools with pointed, equally spaced teeth that are used to make a line of holes in leather for hand stitching. They ensure consistent, evenly spaced, and symmetrical stitches. Japanese style pricking irons give a diamond shaped hole.
