While Adam navigates this new social order, soon-to-be empty-nester Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) looks to give her life some purpose as the William Penn's new Quaker Warden, while Erica (Hayley Orrantia) and Barry (Troy Gentile) face another challenging year at college. As Erica's relationship pushes Barry into dating her boyfriend Geoff's (Sam Lerner) sister, Murray (Jeff Garlin) surprises everyone with a beach house where they can spend time together. But the Goldbergs are faced with a whole new future when Erica and Geoff make a decision that will reverberate for years to come.
