1970年代頃のSPHINXのホースモチーフイヤリング。

ゴールドトーンメタルで表現された馬のたてがみに、煌めくクリアストーンがセットされた美しいデザイン。

ストーンがセットされている部分のメタルのみが、ストーンの白い輝きを引き立てるようシルバートーンとなっています。

エレガントな馬のシルエット、穏やかな表情に気品漂う一品。

華やかな存在感があり、お顔周りのチャーミングなアクセントになってくれます。

片方のイヤリングクリップに一箇所、僅かな黒ずみが見られます(写真6枚目○部分)。その他良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
