The Gibson Kirk Hammett Les Paul Standard is Gibson USA's reissue of one of the most iconic Les Pauls of all time. A '59 owned by Peter Green, Gary Moore, and now Metallica's own Kirk Hammett, this reissue is constructed of a AAA Flame Maple top with Mahogany body, neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The body is finished in the iconic "Greeny Burst" and features a satin nitrocellulose lacquer. The body is loaded with a Greenybucker in the bridge position and the neck with the neck position receiving a reversed mount for classic out of phase sounds. Controls are a standard 3-way switch with 2 vol/2 tone controls.
This Gibson Les Paul Greeny Standard is serial number 213230056 and comes to us in excellent condition. There are two small dings around the control plate on the back of the guitar, nothing distracting nor invasive. Original hard-shell case is included.
