The boy on the left wears a khanjar (dagger) on a belt over his thobe (long shirt) and a headscarf (ghutra). The young boy on the right, wearing a thick agal (head rope) over his ghutra, may be Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. This image was taken during April 6-30, 1948, when Wilfred Thesiger stayed at Al Muwaiji fort in Al Ain as a guest of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
