Saved my skin during an eczema flare up
This saved my skin!
I had an eczema flare on my face, and my usual products werenโt working. A friend recommended the Avene brand and within 3 days of using this rescue barrier serum, my flare was almost completely gone! This saved my face!

PLEASE REVIEW โ FORMULA CHANGED!!!
I wish I wouldโve posted a review PRIOR to the formula changing but just know that I LOVED this serum. Iโve struggled with hormonal acne (PCOS) and eczema for as long as I can remember. Finally, last summer my dermatologist put me on (3) different RX including Spironolactone and Accutane. I was so tired so I stopped everything except for CeraVe cleanser, retinol (Tretinoin) and CeraVe healing ointment. My made up skin routine was working until I used too much Tretinoin and burned my face. I had read great reviews about this product so I thought, I might as well try it โ and IT WORKED! Iโve been using this product for almost a year and I loved it. However, 3 weeks ago when I ordered it, I noticed the bottle had a green tint. I could tell after one use that the feel of the serum was different, more watery, not as thick as it used to be. The smell was also different. Still, I kept using it for nearly 2 weeks and I experienced 2 breakouts! Sure enough, I stopped the product and within a few days, my skin was back to normal. I am very upset because as someone who has extremely sensitive skin, this worked but unfortunately, the new formula isnโt for me.

Very gentle with a light gloss absolutely worth the cost.
I chew gum around 6hrs a day at work to keep my ears popped and have to wear a facemask (extra moisture) which usually ends up leaving the corners of my mouth raw, red, n looking like a cold sore from drying repeatedly there. This feels so soothing and doesn't cause inflammation or drying like using chapstick repeatedly does. It lasts a fair while and I cannot emphasize how much it helps with both healing and protecting. Feels like it actually ADDS moisture and then seals it in without any waxy residue. If your lips are a problem child, this is a holy grail.

- Product feels very soft/buttery, probably best to keep away from hot locations.

New favorite lip balm!
Excellent lip treatment. Doesnโt cause breakouts like some balms do for me. Soothes chapped lips well. Bought for my whole family!

So Much Better than Every Other Lip Balm
Itโs a little pricey, but the best lip balm Iโve ever tried. It is lightweight, moisturizes excellently, and keeps my lips soft and comfortable. I used to use Nivea but it was heavy and greasy, and I had to apply it much more often. Iโve also tried La Mer. This is just as good but only a fraction of the price.
I first bought this when I was doing Accutane. If youโve ever been through that experience, you know your lips are miserable for months on end, and you have to apply lip balm every fifteen minutes. I tried a dozen cheaper lip balms, but finally decided to try this. It is sooo much better. I could go over an hour without feeling uncomfortable.
Even when Iโm not doing Accutane, I have very sensitive lips. During the winter I have to apply other lip balms every hour. With this one I only have to apply every four hours. If I forget to bring it with me, I can go all day without my lips feeling too bad.
