Aussehen:
  Der boobie cactus überzeugt mit seinen auffälligen Aerolen, welche wie Brüste aussehen und je nach Alter der Pflanze auch eine ausgeprägte Bedornung besitzen können. Er kann bei richtiger Pflege mehrere Meter hoch werden.

 

Standort:
  Ein sonniger Standort ist ideal für diesen Kaktus. Er gedeiht besonders gut an einem Süd- oder Westfenster.

 

Pflege:
  Der boobie cactus ist pflegeleicht. Gießen Sie ihn sparsam und lassen Sie die Erde zwischen den Wassergaben vollständig austrocknen. Im Sommer, kann der Kaktus auch häufiger gegossen und gedüngt werden, Trockenperioden zwischen dem Gießen sollten in jedem Fall eingehalten werden.

 

Substrat:
  Verwenden Sie eine spezielle Kakteenerde oder mischen Sie mineralische Zuschläge wie Lavamulch, Zeolith, Seramis o.Ä. unter normale Blumenerde, um eine gute Drainage zu gewährleisten.

 

Winterhärte:
  Der boobie cactus ist nicht winterhart und sollte bei Temperaturen über 10°C gehalten werden. Im Winter bevorzugt er einen kühlen, aber hellen Standort.
