Don't let the name fool you.  Nothing about this bar feels "economical".  This bar is built to the same dimensional specifications as our PR Men's Cross-Training Bar.  The manufacturing quality on this bar is EXCELLENT.  We simply used a lower tensile strength steel (150k psi instead of 210k psi) and went with bushings instead of needle bearing to get the bar cost down to a more cost-effective level.  This bar is perfect for the average lifter, and we sacrificed nothing in the realm of precision manufacturing.  This bar feels like a bar that costs twice as much.

Our purpose in this bar is to create something that is exactly what the "average" home gym user would ever need and nothing more.  The grip feels fantastic and the sleeves rotate smoothly.
