474mg caffeine, 250mg DMHA, and straight-up extreme energy

Dark Labs Crack Diamond Edition is a super intense high-stim pre-workout that's all about giving you that over-the-top training feel, with just enough pump and stamina help to make the workout count, not just hype you up. It's not your everyday balanced option and doesn't try to be. The focus is on cranking up your central nervous system first, backed by decent doses for flow, buffering, and concentration.

It kicks off with 5,000mg L-citrulline. This boosts plasma arginine better than taking arginine straight, which feeds into nitric oxide production for wider blood vessels, better flow, and more oxygen to your muscles. Studies often use 3-8g per day, and lots of performance chasers go for 6g or more, so 5g is solid: not the biggest pump dose out there, but it definitely makes a difference. Expect fuller muscles, better nutrient delivery, and a bit of balance against the tightening effect from the stims.

Beta-alanine comes in at 5,000mg, which beats the usual 3.2g daily standard in carnosine-building plans. It raises carnosine levels in your muscles to buffer acid during tough efforts. That means less of that burning sensation that cuts sets short. You'll feel the tingles right away, but the real payoff comes after weeks as carnosine builds up.

L-tyrosine at 1,000mg supports those brain chemicals like dopamine and norepinephrine. It's a smart add to heavy stim mixes where keeping focus steady is key. While some studies use more, 1g is a typical dose for pre-workout mental support, especially with caffeine.

Agmatine sulfate at 1,000mg layers on more for pumps and focus. Agmatine interacts with nitri

Key Highlights

  • 5,000mg L-Citrulline gives a real base for nitric oxide instead of skimping on pumps. It helps make arginine and opens up blood vessels, leading to bigger pumps, better flow, and some balance to the heavy stim side.
  • 5,000mg Beta-Alanine goes beyond the usual 3.2g daily mark for building carnosine. That's key because it fights acid buildup during training, letting you push high-rep sets longer before the burn hits.
  • 1,000mg L-Tyrosine throws in support for brain chemicals in this stim-heavy mix. In the gym, that can mean sharper focus and staying cool even with all that energy cranking.
  • 1,000mg Agmatine Sulfate boosts the pump and feel side. People use agmatine for thicker pumps and better sessions, and 1g is a real dose, not just a sprinkle.
  • 474mg total caffeine from different forms makes the energy hit smoother and last longer than plain caffeine. Anhydrous gives a quick punch, while citrate and di-caffeine malate ease in the start and stretch it out.
  • 250mg 2-Aminoisoheptane (DMHA) puts this in the hardcore pre-workout zone. It's what takes it from solid to intense, with longer-lasting kick than caffeine by itself.
  • 500mg Beta-PEA adds that quick, feel-good rush that fans of strong stims love. It hits early, building mood, drive, and aggression right away.
  • 150mg Theobromine widens the energy feel without piling on more caffeine. It often feels smoother and hangs around longer, adding some depth to caffeine's sharp edge.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned bodybuilders in heavy hypertrophy blocks who need a pre-workout to make sessions feel driven and high-output. The 5g beta-alanine helps with fatigue in repeats, while 5g citrulline and 1g agmatine keep pumps going despite the stims.
  • High-stim vets who've moved past 250-350mg caffeine basics and want a bolder, multi-layered energy. Crack Diamond Edition blends caffeine sources with 250mg DMHA, 500mg beta-PEA, and 100mg halostachine for way more punch than regular options.
  • Lifters doing long workouts with big lifts then tons of accessories who need energy that lasts past 35 minutes. The mix of caffeine anhydrous, citrate, di-caffeine malate, and theobromine hits hard and sticks around.
  • Athletes who prioritize stim focus and aggression over max pumps. It's not an 8-10g citrulline beast, but 5g citrulline and 1g agmatine support flow while stims lead the show.
  • Folks who dig the happy side of wild pre-workouts, beyond just energy. Beta-PEA, kanna, tyrosine, and halostachine make it feel uplifted and on-point, not like boring high-caffeine.
  • Gym pros who know how they react to DMHA and seek it for peak sessions. Great for leg days, intense uppers, or any workout needing obvious motivation from the warm-up.

How to Use

Try half a scoop first if it's new to you or you're not used to high-stim pre-workouts. A full scoop is intense, so check your tolerance smartly. Take it 20-30 minutes pre-gym; that lines up with quick caffeine uptake to peak during warm-ups. Shake a scoop in 8-12 oz cold water in a bottle, not just stir, since the powder mixes better that way. Empty stomach gives the fastest, strongest start, while a light snack smooths it if you get queasy or too wired. Skip stacking with coffee, energy drinks, fat burners, nootropics, or other DMHA/caffeine stuff unless you're tracking total stims. It pairs well with non-stim adds like creatine, electrolytes, carbs for long hauls, or intra hydration. Tolerance builds with heavy stims, so many rotate it for big sessions or take breaks instead of non-stop. Keep it sealed cool and dry for best powder and potency.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: it usually kicks in quick, especially empty stomach, with early mental buzz before the full body hit. Minutes 10-20: beta-alanine tingles come on strong at 5g, as caffeine citrate and anhydrous start lifting alertness, drive, and energy. Minutes 20-40: that's the peak ramp, with DMHA, beta-PEA, halostachine, tyrosine, and kanna blending into intense, lifted, focused training mode. Minutes 40-90: energy holds up, thanks to theobromine and full stim mix keeping it going longer than basic caffeine pre-workouts. Days 1-7: the right-now effects are clear, but beta-alanine's real perks are still building. Weeks 2-4: muscle carnosine is up from steady use, making hard sets feel easier to sustain before burn-out. Heads up, stim tolerance can grow too, so lots of pros cycle it instead of daily forever.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Dark Labs Crack Diamond Edition?

Based on the verified formula metadata, Crack Diamond Edition provides 474mg total caffeine per serving from 350mg caffeine anhydrous, 100mg di-caffeine malate, and 100mg caffeine citrate. That is a very high caffeine load even before accounting for the added stimulant effect of DMHA, theobromine, beta-PEA, and halostachine.

Is Crack Diamond Edition stronger than a standard high-stim pre-workout?

Yes. Most mainstream high-stim pre-workouts live mainly in the 300-400mg caffeine range and stop there. Crack Diamond Edition goes well beyond that with multi-source caffeine plus 250mg DMHA, 500mg beta-PEA, 100mg halostachine, and kanna extract, making it a much more aggressive formula.

Should I start with a full scoop?

No, not unless you already know you tolerate extreme stimulant products well. Starting with half a scoop is the smarter approach because the full serving combines very high total caffeine with DMHA and other fast-acting stimulatory compounds.

What does the 5g beta-alanine actually do in this formula?

Beta-alanine helps increase muscle carnosine levels over time, which improves acid buffering during high-intensity work. Acutely, you'll likely feel tingling; over a few weeks of consistent use, the more meaningful benefit is better resistance to the burning fatigue that builds during hard sets.

Is 5g L-citrulline enough to notice a pump?

Yes, 5g is a meaningful dose and sits within the broader research-supported intake range for citrulline. It is not as maximal as the 6-8g pump doses seen in some dedicated pump formulas, but paired with 1g agmatine it should still noticeably support fullness and blood flow.

Can I stack Crack Diamond Edition with coffee or an energy drink?

That is not advisable for most users. With 474mg total caffeine already in the formula plus DMHA, theobromine, and other stimulants, adding more stimulants significantly increases the risk of jitters, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, nausea, and sleep disruption.

What makes the energy feel different from caffeine-only pre-workouts?

This formula uses multiple caffeine forms for a layered onset and duration, then adds DMHA, beta-PEA, halostachine, theobromine, and kanna to change the character of the experience. The result is usually described as more urgent, elevated, euphoric, and long-lasting than caffeine alone.

Is Crack Diamond Edition good for daily use?

For most people, no. The beta-alanine benefits from consistent intake, but the stimulant load is so aggressive that many advanced users reserve this formula for their hardest sessions or cycle it to limit tolerance buildup.

Does this product use a proprietary blend?

No. One of the strongest points in its favor is full label disclosure. Every major active ingredient is listed with an exact dose, which is uncommon in the exotic-stim category.

What should I stack with Crack Diamond Edition for better results?

The smartest stacks are non-stimulant additions: creatine monohydrate for phosphocreatine support, electrolytes for hydration and muscle function, and an intra-workout carb/hydration product if your sessions are long. Avoid stacking it with more caffeine, fat burners, or other pre-workouts.

Pastorally edifying & personally encouraging
Format: Kindle
As a pastor and a biblical counselor, I’ve read Powlison many times. I know people who knew him personally. He is a man of nearly mythic proportions in the 2026 landscapes of biblical counseling. And so, based the current landscape of the BC movement at the dawn of 2026, I thought it was to revisit Powlison myself. This is an excellent little read. Recommended for ALL pastors and counselors.

Insightful, Bibical, and Helpful, but with One Major Oversimplification
Format: Paperback
This brief book posthumously publishes new reflections from David Powlison about pastoral counseling. The book opens with a foreword from Ed Welch, who writes about his personal connection with the author and the ways that this book has sharpened his thinking, and the main text includes an introduction, two chapters, and an appendix with suggested reading from both Christian and secular sources. Although "The Pastor as Counselor: The Call for Soul Care" is only eighty pages long, it is full of articulate, biblical, and concise reflections about what counseling is and why pastoral counseling is so uniquely powerful. Insightful and Wise Although I read this book from a layperson's perspective, I found it insightful and helpful. Powlison explains that pastors are always counselors, regardless whether or not they meet one-on-one with people, and show by example what kind of soul care they think is necessary for flourishing. He encourages pastors to take stock of how they present themselves and what common failings they need to avoid, such as offering platitudes or not listening well. He also delineates the clear differences between pastoral counseling and secular "therapeutic professionalism." He explains that because pastoral counseling is gospel-based and flows out of a personal relationship that is free from clinical detachment or professional reserve, it can be particularly powerful to help change people's lives. One Concern I absolutely agree with this, but unfortunately, Powlison creates a false dichotomy between biblical counseling and professional therapy, making it sound like all resources outside of the church will be unhelpful and spiritually destructive. The church has unique resources to meet sufferers' needs, and we shouldn't abandon Christians to the spiritually twisted and harmful ideas common within secular counseling, but Powlison creates a false dilemma between abandoning people to godless counseling versus taking on all of their care within the church directly. He does not address how Christian mental health professionals can support the church's work in complicated cases, and does not indicate what a pastor should do if someone's mental health situation or life struggles are beyond the church's understanding or ability to deal with. Because I am not very familiar with Powlisons's work, I do not know what all of his views are related to integrative approaches to counseling, and it is possible that he has addressed this issue in-depth elsewhere. I certainly did not expect him to cover it in much detail in this very short book, but the oversimplification that he presents calls for discernment and additional reading. I hope that Powlison's writing here will not make pastors resistant to partnering with professionals outside of the church body, as long as those therapists bring a Christian worldview and gospel implications into each aspect of their work. Conclusion Despite my concerns about this oversimplified element, I would strongly recommend that pastors read this book as a way to evaluate themselves, better understand their unique role in people's lives, and consider how they can better care for others in their context. Powlison addresses many issues very well in this book, and it is a wonderful resource for pastors who need succinct, encouraging insight into how they can better understand the counseling aspect of their pastoral role and engage in meaningful conversations, caring relationships, and one-on-one care.

Truth will make you free
Format: Kindle
This book is simple, almost rudimentary in its approach to something we might take for granted. When we preach and teach because it is Sunday or Wednesday, we miss the greatest point of pulpit ministry. here are souls at sake and we are telling how to win the battle, not just another Bible story.

An essential resource for pastors
Format: Kindle
"The Pastor as Counselor" is an essential resource for pastors and church leaders navigating the intersection of faith, mental health, and soul care. David Powlison offers a wealth of Christ-centered motivational insights, practical guidelines, and biblical wisdom to encourage and equip pastors, leaders, and congregants in effectively counseling one another in the context of the church community. “The Pastor as Counselor” includes two sections. The first section defines counseling, and the second lays out the uniqueness of pastoral counseling. One of the book's greatest strengths lies in Powlison’s unrelenting insistence that the pastor is a counselor and the conviction that counseling practices must be grounded in the teachings of the Bible. He notes that every place in Scripture that deals with specific concerns of individuals should be considered a counseling passage.
