De varkensoren van BestBuddy zijn afkomstig van een Veluwse varkenshouderij, ze worden in de nabije omgeving geslacht en ook lokaal gedroogd. Hiermee is de volledige keten inzichtelijk. Bij het gehele proces wordt veel aandacht besteed aan dierenwelzijn op het gebied van huisvesting, voeding en transport. Zo leven de dieren in groepen van 20-30 varkens bij elkaar, met voldoende ruimte en speelgoed om verveling te voorkomen. Er wordt een uitgebalanceerd voer gebruikt, dat vrij is van genetische modificaties. Transport wordt tot een minimum beperkt. Na de slacht worden de oren bevroren aangeleverd bij de drogerij en komen gedroogd en verpakt bij ons binnen. Omdat de oren ruimer uitgesneden worden dan gebruikelijk is, hebben ze meer smaak.

Door te kauwen op de varkensoren reinigt je hond zijn gebit. Bovendien geef je hem een bezigheid die past bij zijn natuurlijke gedrag en het is nog lekker ook.

Great pillow, but the cooling effect depends on the cover

I really like this pillow overall. It’s comfortable, supportive, and feels well made. When you use it without a pillowcase, it definitely feels cool to the touch and does what it claims in terms of that initial cooling sensation.
