Deze witte wijn is vernoemd naar een Franse emigrant, Louis Mel, die in 1870 naar de westelijke Verenigde Staten reisde op zoek naar een plek om wijnen te maken om de grote Franse Crus te evenaren. Hij vond de ideale plek in de Livermore Valley. Daar liet hij Sauvignon Blanc en Semillon stekken planten. De familie Wente verwierf het Louis Mel-landgoed in 1930, waar de afstammelingen van de wijnstokken leven in grind- en leemgronden die vergelijkbaar zijn met het terroir van hun geboorteland Bordeaux. Het wijnhuis Wente maakt al sinds 1883 wijnen van topkwaliteit. Het is het oudste doorlopende familiebedrijf van het land en de wijnen zijn honderd procent geteeld en duurzaam gekweekt in de Livermore Valley, Sanfransico Bay en Arroyo Seco, Monterey appellations. De wijnmakerij is eigendom van en wordt beheerd door de vierde en vijfde generatie van de Wente familie. Nice hose filter for filling hot tubs

I bought this for filling up my hot tub. It does the trick. Straight tap water was difficult to balance the ph and keep it stable. When I fill the hot tub using the filter, the water is more balanced and easier to maintain. I used it for two 390gal refills before I noticed it was getting slower, so ordered another one. I haven’t used it for drinking water so can’t comment on the taste. It does seem to help with hardness though.

Good for using for makeshift folding RV counter
Size: 10 Inch
We installed these shelf brackets in our RV to use as an extension of the counter, using the sink cover. Because we do not want to screw the sink cover to the brackets, we have used velcro to attach it to the brackets. This has worked very well.
